Happy Canada Day

We celebrated in a unique way this year; in the nation's capital, with the potential to see the Royal couple.  (But due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn't get there in time.)  The really wonderful part of the weekend was of course our Adoptive Families reunion, planned way before Will and Kate decided to join us!

It is difficult to get 10 toddlers all willing to stand in the same area at the same time, so this was the best we could manage.  Evie is in the middle, white dress with red bands, fingers in her mouth. (One wouldn't come in the picture at all).

It was a nice weekend, catching up, seeing how the children have grown, swapping tales.  It is so important to maintain these connections and I'm glad our group is putting forth a good effort.  Of the 18 families who travelled to China together, we managed to get 10 of them out this weekend.  Fantastic!
