A Weekend Away.

It started out as an idea to do a day away, across the river to visit friends who were camping.  It morphed into one overnight stay, then two, and was a lovely getaway.

Our visit to see friends.  Evie loves Meghan and all of the attention!  She has to do whatever Meghan is doing, as evidenced here.  It's very sweet.

Playing on the beach is great fun.  Except for the Nazi Lifeguards, who wouldn't allow us to use water wings.  But we won't think about them.

Back to our lovely spot by the river to enjoy a sunset walk with the geese.
