Belated (again, story of my current life) Easter pics

On our way to church.  Note wrecked kitchen wall behind the refrigerator.

I love the affection Sean is showing for Evie in this picture.

Well Easter this year went better than last year, (when Sean destroyed all of the hollow bunnies, for no particular reason).  I didn't buy them a lot of treats this year, (do they really need it), just a hollow egg each, jelly beans, dollar store toys and the bonus of Easter bunnies sent by Uncle Gary.

Afterwards we went for a nice drive across the border, in an area of a lot of nice lakes and woods.  We even got a walk in.

The weather was absolutely beautiful.  Sean particularly enjoyed checking out the surveyors stakes on our walk of a piece of lakefront property.  (No, not in the cards for us at the moment).  He had to photograph them (I'll see if I can scrounge them up), and really examine everything.  I'm not sure what the fascination was.

You know how happy I always am when a holiday event goes over well, meaning we haven't had any Seanie incidents.....

Evie of course enjoyed Easter and being out.  She is growing up so fast, not so much physically, but mentally.

She wrote her name out for me for the first time yesterday.  She was absolutely correct on everything but the upside-down "v", but I'd say that was pretty good for a 3 year old.  Like I said to Bob, I think we'll get our money's worth out of Montessori this time around.

Evie was thrilled the other day to have Mommy at Montessori as teacher's helper again.  I love to do it, as I can observe her quietly, and I enjoy being with the other kids and getting to know the Montessori materials.  For Sean in particular, there are still some Math materials that would be good for him (in developing multiplication skills).  A discussion with Sean's elementary school teacher the other day was less than satisfactory in this regard....their opinion is that there are some concepts that he will "never get".  I beg to differ, but it will take some work on my part to get him there.

And on we go.
