Halloween 2010 Preparation

Getting ready for the big day.  Sean has lights set up on the lawn, tape (of course) to guide people along the path of his choosing, and plans of all kinds on setting up the porch and entry hall.

Evie is getting over her fear of pumpkins, as seen below.

We had a productive morning creating two jack-o-lanterns, and just have two more to carve.  She "helped" me pull seeds out (we soak them in brine and toast them with tamari, yummm) and then got interested in something else.

We also tried on a couple of costumes; not sure what she'll wear yet.  Both were gifts, but I think the angel would also be nice for a church Christmas pageant!  She's not too sure about the leopard though...doesn't like the hood on it.  I have another couple of costumes hidden away in a trunk, so we'll have to try those on as well.
