New Years in Quebec City

This is always a lovely city to visit, at any time of year.  I have never been here around Christmastime though, and was truly amazed with the creativity of the decorations on the old city storefronts.

Like any good, busy mother though, I managed to bring my camera, but leave my flashcard in the computer at home!  So I rely on our Aussie friends (photos here courtesy Peter Leske..... that's your photo credit Pete) to supply me with some.

The  one below is of course, our party girl!  She didn't want to go to bed, and at midnight even went to get her coat and boots for the trek outside to see fireworks.

A good time was had by all, and I can't write more at the moment as it takes so long to download pics that it's now time to pick up Sean from school.  Another time....
