Easter 2011

Easter Greetings to all!

We had a lovely day visiting Cousin Erin and family.  (Erin I left my garlic bread in your freezer, but you can keep it).

First, the day started with some surprises on the dining room table from the Easter bunny....

Mainly he/she left some books, little pots and pans, and of course a chocolate bunny.

We thought Sean was doing very well, as he hadn't totally eaten up his bunny before going to church, as he has done most every other year, but...he did eat it up after lunch, then to top that off, decided to smash Sky and Evie's bunnies into little pieces.  I found them on top of the piano.  Why?  Partly a result of too much sugar...do I let him have it or not?  Partly unknown reasons.  He said he thought it was funny.  He didn't think it so funny when I made him apologize.

But I digress.  This is a pic of Evie and her new favorite toy...yes it's an iPod.  Pity it isn't hers, but Skyler does let her use it on occasion.  There's an app with a kitty who repeats whatever you say, only in a higher, more annoying voice, a bit like it's just sucked up some helium, but she just loves it!

Anyhow, church was nice, especially since all 5 of us were there together, well sort of.  Evie and I sat a few rows up from the boys, then she ditched me and went back with them.  But I had to help out in the back with the kids during most of the service so that was fine.

Then home for lunch and off to Erin and Jordan's.

And now I'll have to leave this for the moment...little girl needs to go down for a nap.
