Techie Toddlers

It never ceases to amaze me at how today's kids are so tech-savvy.  I mean, I learned about computers ages ago, as part of the work I did while in Toronto, attending several computer aided drafting courses.  Those were the days when we still had to enter commands using symbols, ie. * . * which meant "all", I think.  Even so, I don't consider myself terribly proficient with computers, and watch in wonder as my kids navigate the whole spectrum quite easily.

Evie, below, loves to play with my Nintendo DS (started out as Skyler's but he's moved on), and we get comments when she is using it out in public, in a waiting room, for instance.  Mostly, I find her a place where she can draw (I generally have a Sudoku program in there, or a gambling one...she was pretty good at Texas Hold 'Em one day!), or she just likes bringing new things up on the screen.

Well I don't let her play on it all day, but it does keep a little girl happy for those necessary moments!
